Charles “Buddy” Dudley and Kelly Beery

A former professional tap and jazz dancer, Charles “Buddy” Dudley decided to take his love of the arts to another level. “I’ve always loved the art forms and decided to become a professional hairdresser in 1982,” he says. Dudley decided to specialize in color eight years ago and, judging from his enormous popularity, it’s a decision that’s worked out well. Co-owner (with David Honeycutt) of the Charles David Haircolor and Design Center in Norwell, Massachusetts, Dudley is the recipient of numerous awards and honors. One of the highlights of his career, he says was performing as a member of Beth Minardi’s “Dream Team” at Color America in Chicago. Kelly Beery, an education director and designer, has been with the salon for 10 years. An all-around hairdresser, Beery teaches design, with a focus on cutting and finishing.
