CHARLES DAVID HAS NEW DIGS

Charles David Salon has had a strong presence on the South Shore since 1995. Recently, however, its presence has increased so much that the establishment, now called Charles David Salon and Spa, may in fact be the largest of its kind on the South Shore. Upon moving into a new building at 222 WebsterStreet in Hanover the formerly Norwell-based hair salon has grown to include a full-service spa spread out on over 7,000 square feet. Owned by Charles Dudley and David Honeycutt, Charles David’s emphasis is on hair design and color. The new space features an elite color lab to visually engage, involve and connect clients to the beauty and range of hair color, says David Honeycutt. The expanded area enables Charles David, which has a staff of 63, to expand its offerings, something that Honeycutt says they’ve wanted to do for a long time. A range of body treatments and massage are available including: seaweed and UltraSonic facials and light therapies to tighten the skin. The new free-standing building, owned by Charles David will also house other businesses including the home design shop Madison James, a high-end women’s clothing boutique, and South Shore Electrolysis. “We want the whole building to be geared to women,” says Honeycutt, who adds that a chiropractor whose practice caters to women may also rent space in the building. “We want them to come here and be able to unwind, get various treatments, and do the things they love to do.” For more information, call (781) 982-1224, orvisit www.charlesdavidsalon.com
